Factual work
Reporting, investigations and analysis should be based on material we can support. Important claims should be attributable where practical, dates should be clear, and source or document links should be provided when they materially help readers understand the work.
Satire
Satire may invent facts. It must be labelled clearly enough that a reasonable reader can understand what kind of article they are reading.
Corrections
Material factual errors should be corrected transparently. Where the change is significant, the article should carry a correction note explaining what changed.
